I designed a 40-page book exploring the visual meaning of Chinese characters, turning each word into a tangible form that reflected its definition—like creating the character for “fire” out of matchsticks. I took full ownership of the project, from concept to execution, designing the layout, selecting materials, and ensuring cohesion across print. The book was perfectly bound with a slipcase, showcasing a hands-on, thoughtful approach to typography and materiality that brought language to life.
